Kingdom South Apartments

Kingdom South Apartments is a 50-unit affordable housing community developed in partnership with Abounding Prosperity, Inc. to provide high-quality, stable housing for low-income residents and individuals requiring supportive services.

Of the 50 units, 12 are designated specifically for individuals living with HIV and their families. These units follow the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) supportive housing model—promoting housing stability, improving access to care, and reducing the risk of homelessness for vulnerable populations.

Through this collaborative partnership, Kingdom Legacy Development oversees the renovation of the 12 designated units, while Abounding Prosperity, Inc. provides comprehensive support services, case management, and rental assistance through a master lease agreement. Together, these efforts create a wrap-around environment that supports both independent living and long-term wellness.

At Kingdom South Apartments, inclusivity and accessibility are central to our mission. We are committed to ensuring that individuals with special needs—including elderly residents, individuals with disabilities, survivors of physical or emotional abuse, people in recovery from substance use, those living with HIV/AIDS, formerly incarcerated individuals, and victims of domestic or dating violence—receive the housing stability and support they deserve.

Our tenant screening process, managed by a professional property management team, is designed to identify and assist residents with unique needs in a respectful and confidential manner. Applicants may voluntarily disclose any accommodations required during the rental application process, with documentation accepted from the applicant, a case manager, or a referral partner.

Kingdom South Apartments is also registered with Housing Forward, the central homeless housing agency for the Dallas region. Through this partnership, available units are listed for individuals experiencing homelessness, and participating agencies can directly refer qualified applicants. Agencies provide vouchers or subsidies to tenants before referring them to our property management team for placement.

This collaborative model of affordable housing and supportive care ensures that every resident—regardless of background or circumstance—has access to a safe, dignified home and the resources needed to thrive.
